The following formats should be followed exactly when citing articles in the Environment and Planning journals.
Any articles which are unpublished (or published by NGOs, etc), such as conference proceedings and working papers, must be accompanied by full contact details or a URL which links to the article content. All foreign titles must be accompanied by a translation. Personal communications, or any material which is not obtainable (even from the author), must not be cited as references but may be mentioned in the text. Start and end page numbers must be supplied for all journal articles or book extracts.
